iLab Enterprise Service Project: Countdown to Go-Live - Key Milestones for February 20 Launch
January 17, 2026 - Grace Faustino
As we move rapidly toward our February 20, 2026, Go-Live date, the project team has completed a comprehensive status synchronization to outline the final push for implementation. To ensure a smooth transition, we have defined specific milestones regarding testing, operations, and training that require immediate attention from all stakeholders.
Below is a summary of the critical path items and deadlines for the coming weeks.
Immediate Operational Priorities
To maintain momentum and transparency, the team is implementing two immediate operational changes:
Enhanced Issue Visibility: Effective immediately, the iLab team must be included on all new testing issues and identified gaps. This ensures shared visibility and faster resolution times.
Operational Hand-off: UNM is currently identifying and finalizing the specific points of contact who will manage ongoing operations and support post-launch.
Testing & Technical Critical Path
The technical team is entering the final validation phases. Please note the following hard deadlines:
Configuration Stabilization: We expect new billing values and configurations to stabilize test results by the middle of next week.
End-to-End Validation: A dedicated working session will be scheduled shortly to track Journal Voucher (JV) examples through to Banner. Note: Attendance will be required for the iLab team and Finance SMEs to provide functional validation.
Integration Deadline: All integration testing must be finalized and signed off by February 11, 2026.
Training & Demonstrations
To ensure user readiness, the rollout of training and demos will be segmented by user group:
Existing Live Cores: Demos highlighting billing changes will be scheduled between January 26 and February 20.
Wave 2 New Cores (Main Campus): Billing demos for this group will be integrated directly into their specific implementation phase.
- PreOnaboarding activities are ongoing with each new core. CHTM, CMEM, ASPIRE, and MMC
